On September 7th Gladiators of the Cage invades the Pittsburgh Indoor Sports Arena for the 5th installment of "Road To Glory". Match-maker Rich Miller and promoter Robert Joseph put on some of the most exciting fights in Pennsylvania, as evidenced by "North Shore's Rise To Power II" back in July that has been airing on Root Sports Pittsburgh. The fight cards are STACKED with great match-ups between amazing fighters from all over the Keystone State and beyond. The promotion is gaining a reputation for making some major stars out of up-and-coming fighters, and have signed some excellent fighters to multi-fight deals so that fans of Gladiators of the Cage can regularly see their favorite fighters. With the addition of Root Sports airing the events this added exposure is sure to bring in more fans of great MMA as well as attract even more top level fighters to be added to future fight cards.

Road To Glory V has some match-ups that are sure to please the crowd. Local fighters like Central Pennsylvania's Charlie "Madman" Gathers will be facing a very tough Steve Smith. Four fighters from the July fight card are back in action for this event. Chris Dempsey is set to face Baltimore Maryland's Tenyeh "Skinnyman" Dixon in the first fight for Dixon in the United States since his appearance at Complete Devastation 6 last year in Clearfield, Pa. Dempsey is fresh off a win over Lewis Rumsey. The fight between Dixon & Dempsey will be for the GotC Middleweight (185lb pro) title. Also in action again are Jason Willett Vs. Todd Bevan, Bekzod Abdurakhmonoz Vs. Jeremy Carper, and Ryan Skuta Vs. Anthony Grine.Also on the fight card another title fight. Current World Cagefighting Championships Lightweight (155lb ammy) Champion Shawn Downs will face Travis List for the GotC Lightweight Title.
