Pinnacle Fighting Championships is bringing the fourth installment of the "Pittsburgh Challenge Series" to the Iceoplex in Cannonsburg, Pennsylvania tomorrow night. The doors open at 6PM and the fights are expected to start at 7PM.
The info about this event from the official PFC website says:
"We are less than one month away from PinnacleFC’s 4th installment of the Pittsburgh Challenge Series and our production team has been working over time in preparation for another awesome event. The MMA scene in Pittsburgh has never looked better and fighters are coming out of the woodwork to compete on one of our cards. The calls we’ve been getting are unbelievable and range anywhere from high level professionals in Texas and California, to amateurs all over the country to compete in our recently announced tournament.
It’s pretty amazing to think that 10 years ago the sport in this area was practiced mostly in a few basements and the occasional garage or backyard.
As always we appreciate the support in this extremely risky business and frankly without you it wouldn’t be possible.

The fight card has some amazing match-ups, listed on the MixedMartialArts.com fight card are 14 total fights (subject to change) with 3 professional fights and 11 amateur fights - 8 of which will be under the "Advanced Rules" for amateur fighters recently instituted in Pennsylvania. Among the fights are 2 Title fights. Kyle Dunmeyer will face John Saxton for the PFC Middleweight (185 lb ammy) Title while Davey Crockett will face Jonathan Coffman for the PFC Bantamweight (135 lb ammy) Title. The main event is Shane Chojnacki facing Reggie Parks. Other local fighter to watch from this fight card are Caleb Dobosh, Clark Young, Ethan Goss & Team Dignan/Brumbaugh MMA Fight Team member Shawn McMahon.
Recently it was announced in an article posted on StandThemUp.Org that Pinnacle Fighting Championships will have their events aired on FOX - this is major news like when another Pittsburgh MMA Promotion Gladiators of the Cage announced a deal with another station in the FOX family of channels (Roots Sports - Pittsburgh) to have their events also televised. This is an amazing time for Western Pennsylvania MMA fans who will get to see incredible local fights if they can't make it to the events to see them live.
